In honor of Thanksgiving, I present to you some of the past winning mashed potato sculptures from Potato Days, a full-blown celebration of the humble potato in Barnesville, Minnesota which is held in August. These were made by Monique Daley.

These potato sculptures are just my kind of kooky. Perhaps I'll have to make a trip out to Barnesville someday.
I know, right? But the corn on the cob is kind of amazing - who knew mashed potatoes could be so versatile?
